Born and raised in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pa, Tanqueray was surrounded by music from an early age.  As a child she wanted to be the next Whitney Houston. With her powerful and soulful voice she is well on her way. Her first album, newly released, on March 26th is called "Definition of A Woman" and it's flying up the charts in the UK. It contains several of her top 10 UK Soul Chart Singles; "This Kind Of Love" "This Thing" and "Reflections". There is not one throw away track on this compilation. Stellar performances from the beginning to end. 
Tanqueray has won the readers choice Best New Artist Award on the SoulTracks.com.
